Thomas Boisvert, LGPC-DC

Thomas Boisvert, LPC-DC, Licensed Resident Counselor-VAMy therapeutic practice primarily focuses on couples and relationship work using Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method. I’m drawn to this work because relationships are often where our deepest patterns, vulnerabilities, and strengths show up—and where meaningful change can have a wide ripple effect. In my work with couples, I aim to create a calm, structured space where both partners feel heard and understood. I’m especially interested in helping couples slow things down, make sense of recurring conflict cycles, and reconnect with the underlying needs and intentions that often get lost during distress. I find it deeply fulfilling to support couples as they move from reactivity toward greater clarity, safety, and collaboration. My approach is grounded in evidence-based models and informed by attachment and parts-based perspectives. I value being thoughtful, steady, and transparent in the therapy process, and I work collaboratively with couples to help them better understand both themselves and one another.

Winnie Lee, LGPC-DC, Licensed Resident Counselor-VA

I work with couples and individuals who are seeking deeper connection—with one another, with themselves, or both. I am especially drawn to supporting people who feel stuck in painful patterns or weighed down by grief, trauma, or disconnection that can be hard to name and even harder to share. In our work together, I offer warmth, curiosity, and care, creating a safe and supportive space where vulnerability can be held and meaningful change can begin. I work from a client-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment-based perspective, drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My approach is affirming and strengths-based, and I have experience working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. I also hold a Master of Fine Arts degree and bring over two decades of experience in creative fields, writing and editing, therapeutic yoga, and nonprofit work supporting families of hostages and parents facing perinatal loss—work rooted in meeting people where their stories are often carried alone or in silence. Together, we will deepen your self-understanding, creating more space for authentic, connected, and fulfilling relationships—with others and within yourself.

Omoro Omoighe, LGPC-DC-MD

Hello, I’m Omoro Mojidi, a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Washington, DC. I work with individuals and couples, supporting people navigating ADHD, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship challenges, workplace stressors, disordered eating, and chronic or acute health conditions. I also provide culturally informed care for LGBTQIA+ clients and BIPOC communities, honoring the identities and lived experiences that shape each person’s story. My approach is warm and collaborative, grounded in the belief that people grow when they feel genuinely understood. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients explore their thoughts and emotions, build coping skills, and reconnect with what matters most. I also consider how clients function within the systems around them—policies, workplaces, communities, and cultural contexts—because these environments deeply influence stress, identity, and well‑being. Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly twenty years strengthening health systems’ responsiveness to HIV, hepatitis and liver disease, and breast cancer through clinical research, provider training, and state‑level advocacy. That work shaped my commitment to equity, compassion, and meeting people where they are—values that continue to guide my clinical practice today. I hold a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The George Washington University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full self, explore what feels challenging, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Much of this experience has involved working with individuals from immigrant backgrounds or navigating multiple cultural worlds, and I approach this work with sensitivity and a systemic lens. As a queer woman, I also bring familiarity with LGBTQ+ identity exploration and family-of-origin complexity. My practice integrates humanistic values with Attachment theory, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and IFS-based parts work. When helpful, I integrate mindfulness and somatic approaches to support emotional regulation and reconnection with the body. I believe deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship and feel honored to accompany clients as they show up, grow, and reconnect with themselves.

Jeremy Hardy, LGPC-DC

As an integrative therapist, I tailor my approach to meet your needs—whether you’re seeking support as an individual or as a couple. I see therapy as a journey of healing and growth, and one that moves at the speed of trust. My style is centered on helping you navigate the tensions we may be caught between: nuance and simplicity, seriousness and play, who we once were and who we are becoming, acceptance and change. I aim to create space for both tender self-reflection around the challenges you face, and a strength-based perspective on the skills you already have or want to cultivate. My style works well with individuals navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and identity-based challenges–including ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ identity development, and relationship challenges. As a Black gay therapist who was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and spent 10 years living in New York City, I bring both personal and professional experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique identity, lived experience, and values. My practice is grounded in a strengths-based perspective, helping clients embrace their authentic selves and recognize their inherent resilience. Through an empathetic and holistic lens, I support individuals in navigating complex emotions, life transitions, relationship challenges, and patterns of thinking or behavior that may no longer serve them. Therapy can be a place to feel seen, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can explore, grow, and move toward the life you want to build.

I approach therapy with warmth, collaboration, and curiosity, creating a space that feels both supportive and real. My work is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT to meet each client’s needs. I earned my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College and have experience working across higher levels of care with adolescents and adults navigating eating disorders, mood concerns, trauma, and relational challenges. I provide therapy to clients in both Washington, DC and Virginia. I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, and life transitions, as well as supporting parents and caregivers as they navigate the challenges of parenting and the postpartum period. I value a collaborative approach and aim to help clients better understand themselves, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I see counseling as a collaborative journey that centers you and the unique identities, histories, and areas of concern you bring to our work together. My approach is rooted, above all, in curiosity and empathy. I practice from an integrative narrative therapy lens, borrowing philosophies and techniques from other modalities like existential therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). As a queer Asian-American woman, I have gained experience and a particular interest in working with diverse individuals, including those who are LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-identifying, on topics such as identity exploration, life transitions, relational stressors, anxiety and other disorders.
