The goal of our service delivery is to improve functioning and mental well-being for adults, children, couples, and families in the DMV area. Individualized services are available to meet most client needs including services for: depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, mental disorders, alcohol and substance abuse issues, career and school challenges, youth and adolescent behavioral issues, relationship issues, and life-span issues.
All services provided align with clinical best-practices and are supported by research. The therapy modalities that are primarily used by staff are Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused.
Psychotherapy is provided to individuals experiencing emotional stress, behavioral issues, mental disorders, or other challenges that are causing psychological distress. During psychotherapy, you will learn about specific thoughts, feelings, moods, and behaviors that are causing life challenges. Your therapist will help guide you so you can safely explore how these conditions are impacting your well-being and personal, intrapsychic, familial, social, occupational, and educational functioning. Overall, psychotherapy helps to empower you by teaching you healthy coping skills to respond to challenging life situations. Most sessions are 50 minutes in length (shorter sessions can be arranged and prorated). You can decide on the frequency.Fee: $250 per session
